Added Length

  • The standard length of each roof rack is approximately 10ft
  • Standard rack begins at the back of the driver’s window to reduce noise, and ends flush with rear of van roof
  • There are two options for adding length:
    • Up to 12 feet
    • Over 12 feet: Has a 14 ft. maximum possible length

Air Dam/Spoiler

  • The purpose of an air dam/spoiler is to create less air resistance, reducing or eliminating noise
  • Spoiler is made of material consistent with your flooring option choice

Additional Crossbar(s)

  • Often used for tying down surf boards, kayaks, canoes, etc. They can be welded in place or removable
  • Must specify where crossbar(s) is to be welded

Removable Crossbar(s)

  • Generally used for special needs
  • On Ford and Chevy vans, the removable crossbar is mounted in a fixed position as the roof tapers, and is mounted/removed using an allen wrench
  • On the Dodge Sprinter, the removable crossbar has optional positioning as the roof is parallel

Light Tab(s)

  • Light tabs are welded onto roof rack and are used for mounting lights, antennas, etc
  • One light tab per light

3” Slat Across Rack (Side to Side) for Light Mount

  • Alternative to Light Tabs that allow customers to place lights anywhere along the slat rather than pre-welded Light Tab locations
  • Light mount slat is mounted to bottom bar of roof rack toward the front of the vehicle

Yakima Crossbar(s)

  • Yakima products (storage containers, bike racks, etc.) are made with  specific and unique size mounting brackets, so we must customize our standard crossbars to fit this size
  • Specify location of where the Yakima Crossbars are to be mounted (measurements are to be given from the rear of the roof rack forward, from center of pipe to center of pipe)
  • Welded into place

Removable Yakima Crossbar(s)

  • Yakima products (storage containers, bike racks, etc.) are made with specific and unique size mounting brackets, so we must customize our standard crossbars to fit this size
  • Must specify location of where Yakima Crossbars are to be mounted (measurements are to be given from the rear of the roof rack forward, from center of pipe to center of pipe)

Boat Rollers

  • Used for ease in loading items onto the roof rack, especially kayaks and larger items
  • Rollers are mounted on crossbars, at rear of roof rack
  • Customers typically order two 24” boat rollers, other sizes are available

Go Light Mount

  • Go Lights will not work with light tabs, they need a special mounting bracket
  • We do not sell Go Lights

Kyocera Solar Panel Mount

  • Most common solar panel brand used is Kyocera. The largest dimension solar panel that we can accommodate is determined by the width of the rack
  • Solar panel is mounted at the highest point of the roof rack to prevent any shadows (shadows drastically take away from solar power)
  • Here's a link to the Kyocera website catalogue
