For added safety, the top of the ladder is designed to lock in your foot, providing more secure footing when accessing your roof. Plus, we’ve upgraded to bigger, adjustable folding steps, making it even easier and more comfortable to climb past your tire or storage box.

The ladder comes with a limiting strap to prevent the door from hitting the side of your van, and when paired with our ladder/combo kit, you can mount a storage box or spare tire with ease. The kit includes clamp-on posts, a tire mount, and three auxiliary steps to help you reach your roof safely and comfortably.

Side Ladder – Promaster

When you have an Aluminess roof rack on your van it is a great place to store bulky things. The problem is getting up there to strap everything down. Aluminess solves this problem with their all-aluminum Side Ladder. These mount to the Aluminess Roof Rack and the lower pinch weld of the vehicle, solving the problem of drilling through your rear door. It can be located anywhere between the door and the rear wheel of the vehicle.
