Designed as a modular vehicle storage container, the ALB 227 Box features two horizontally opening doors for organized and easy ergonomic access. The lower door features dual-position deployment: horizontal functional work surface or fully lowered vertical position swinging completely out of the way for unobstructed loading and unloading.

The other main features of the ALB 227 Box are the suite of options available for multiple configurations, tasks, and functional purpose.

With our Adjustable Shelf, you can customize the height to fit your needs, whether you’re storing bulky items or your go-to essentials.

This versatile ALB 227 offers multiple unique features and add-ons that sets it apart from other boxes. With multiple configurations and mounting surfaces, you can easily switch out accessories like our Rotopax and Expo Pro Kit.

• You can mount the ALB 227 Box on the driver and passenger side racks as well as on swing arm bumpers
• Integrated lock makes protection a breeze. An additional padlock can also be added for extra security against theft.
• Easy to use compression latch can be rotated in any direction preventing contents in your box from jamming the latch.
• Friction hinges hold door open, even in the wind or on hills, and can be adjusted looser or tighter based on your preferences.
• Durable and reliable. The aluminum storage box handles travel and daily use with ease

• Will fit a 20lb propane tank (Box should be vented if being used to transport propane)

Fitment Info:

The ALB 227 Box is universal and can be mounted on any bumper or rear door rack. When installing, the box must be supported from the back and bottom. Mounting only through the back wall of the box can result in damage.

Does not fit with Powerlift.

Q: Box Door Description
The ALB 227 features a vertically split 30/70 dual-door design that delivers controlled access, integrated utility, and secure closure.

• The upper door (30%) is top-hinged and supported by gas struts, opening upward and holding itself securely in place to provide overhead clearance and coverage.
• The lower door (70%) is bottom-hinged and operates in two positions:
  • Locks at 90 degrees to create a stable, flat work surface
  • Lowers further to near 180 degrees for unobstructed access to the storage area

The upper door opens first and lower door closes first, followed by the upper door, which overlaps and captures it to keep the system firmly shut.
