That’s where the Aluminess Rear Door Ladder comes in. Made from lightweight, all-aluminum construction, it bolts directly into factory mounting points—no complicated pivots or ball joints needed! For added grip and safety, the top of the ladder is shaped to lock in your foot for more confident climbing.
It’s unique mounting design swings with the door on the same plane so no ball joints are needed. This means no maintenance or parts to wear out!
Want even more function? Go for the combo kit. It includes a mount for a box or spare tire and a set of sleek, offset steps that let you climb easily around your mounted gear.

Our ladder allows you to lock your foot up against the side of the ladder for leverage and confidence.
- The ladder sits an average of 4.5” off the van giving ample room for your foot to comfortable step on each rung without adding too much length to the van.

Nerf Bars – 2007-26 Sprinter
Expedition vehicles can be tricky to get in and out of, especially if they are 4×4 and lifted. Our aluminum Nerf Bars for the Mercedes Sprinter van make it easy to get in and out of your van. They are designed to retain ground clearance, but also provide an easy place to help enter and exit your van. They are also a great way to protect your Sprinter from those pesky shopping carts. Now compatible with the factory A/C and auxiliary heater.
Nerf bars include both driver and passenger side.
The purpose of this product is to provide easy access to the inside and outside of your van without weighing down your suspension. Our nerf bars/side steps are not rock sliders.
