Rear Door Ladder – 2015-26 Ford Transit

Whether you’re hauling gear in an Aluminess roof rack or just using a basic storage box, the roof of your Transit is prime real estate for bulky cargo. The catch? Getting up there safely to secure it all.

That’s where the Aluminess Rear Door Ladder comes in. Made from lightweight, all-aluminum construction, it bolts directly into factory mounting points—no drilling needed!

Transit door skins are made of very thin sheet metal and are prone to cracking with any penetrations made to them. That’s why Aluminess ties into factory fasteners already built into the door and designed for constant opening and closing of the doors. Extensive research and testing was done to ensure that the design didn’t compromise the structural integrity of the door and could support the weight.

For added grip and safety, the top of the ladder is shaped to lock in your foot for more confident climbing. Curved ladder tops are dangerous and don’t provide the support necessary when both climbing and securing cargo at the same time. Our ladder allows you to lock your foot up against the side of the ladder for leverage and confidence.

No need to determine what kind of hinges you have. It works with 180 hinges, 270 hinges, 130wb vans and 148wb vans.

Want even more function? Go for the combo kit. It includes a mount for a box or spare tire and a set of sleek, offset steps that let you climb easily around your mounted gear.

Surf Pole – 2015-26 Ford Transit

Storage is at a premium on van builds. Aluminess solves this problem with our all-aluminum surf and paddle board carrier. Mount your paddle or surf board using one of our Surf Poles, driver-side ladder and a pair of surf hooks.

Side Ladder – 2015-26 Ford Transit

If you have a roof rack, then access to the roof is a must. Our aluminum Side Ladder for the Ford Transit provides quick and easy access to your roof rack without the need to drill through the rear door of your vehicle. Our driver side ladder sits about 5″ away from the van, which gives you ample space to climb, but is tight enough to the body of your Transit to easily avoid any obstacles.

PLEASE NOTE: Ford Transit Ladder is designed to mount to Aluminess Rack. Ladder top mounting bracket is a 1-5/16″ pipe clamp.
